Timur Dersuniyelioglu graduated with a First-class Bachelor of Music (Honours) from Istanbul Yildiz University where he studied classical guitar with Bulent Erguden and Ricardo Moyano.
In 2019, he completed his Master Degree at Conservatorium Maastricht/Netherlands where he was awarded Zuyd Exellence Scholarship and scholarship from Kingdom of Netherlands. In Maastricht he had the opportunity to work together with world-renowned guitarist and prestigious teacher Carlo Marchione.
Timur is a prize winner of numerous national and international guitar competitions. He has participated in masterclasses with such distinguished artists as David Russell, Aniello Desiderio, Michael Lewin, Carlos Bonell, Anthony Graham Devine, Lorenzo Micheli, Marcin Dylla and Gilbert Biberian. Besides his activity as a performer, he is giving private guitar tuition in London also teaches at Richmond Academy of Music.
